BEIJING, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Disney's ""Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales"" topped Chinese box office with an estimated 464 million yuan (67.8 million U.S. dollars) in the week ending May 28.


The fifth installment of the ""Pirates"" franchise, starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Javier Bardem as the villainous Captain Salazar, debut in the Chinese film market on May 26, the same with North America.


The Indian drama ""Dangal"" landed in second place for the week, taking in 160 million yuan. The film has earned 943 million yuan since its release on May 5.


Sony's thriller ""Life"" took third place, earning 37 million yuan.


In fourth place was domestic war movie ""God of War,"" generating 28 million yuan.


Rounding out the top five was Disney and Marvel's ""Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2,"" which grossed 26 million yuan.

" A fluorescence detector is one of the major parts used in any Liquid Chromatographs like the High Pressure Liquid Chromatograph. This detector is a very sensitive part of the device and is used to analyze the traces of elements in a compound mixture. However, there is a limit of this detector in spite of its extremely sensitive behavior. While used over a limited range of concentration, this detector produce a linear response and it is very unfortunate that it cannot be used on its own without a proper synthesizer if someone wants to use it for substances that do not fluoresce in a natural way. How does a fluorescence detector work?
This detector is one of the most complex devices developed by Buck Scientific for the industrial and laboratory testing purpose. This fluorescence detector contains a flow cell that works as a sensor. Light is passed through the sensitive flow cell axially and the photocell inside the flow cell receives the light. To protect the photo cell being excited by any UV light there is usually a protection wall made of Pyrex glass. The photo cell is excited because of the presence of a fluorescent solute. As the fluorescent light can pass through the wall, it hits the photo cell and starts the excitation process and then the attached computer receives an output. Sometimes a monochrometer is used for this analysis process that analyzes the fluorescent light. Using this monochrometer the operators of the device can get a fluorescent spectrum out of the excitation (it can be of any specific wavelength). And then the fluorescent solute can be separated from the non fluorescent substances and this is how a fluorescent detector works to help in the compound separation process.
