ÿþI have loved the Saucony Guide for many years& until mens saucony guide 10 my knees were injured and I switched to running on my toes. Since then I have been trying to find just the right fit. I believe the Saucony Virata will be it! I would love to get these in the coral/purple color combo (orange is my favorite). I am getting back into running and have found that running on my toes is much easier on my knees here's to success! The ideal shoe for me is one that will keep me as injury free as possible! After two years of running, I'm still trying to find the perfect shoe. I started with a stability shoe and after all kinds of injuries, I switched to a shoe with a little less stability. My old injuries (IT Band, sore hips and shin splits) disappeared, but I developed a soreness on the top of my foot.
I have tried every brand EXCEPT for Saucony! I'm due for a new pair and have been putting it off because choosing the right shoe stresses me out! I hope one day I will find my forever shoe! I am very partial to Saucony shoes. I retro saucony shoes currently LOVE the mirage for the road and the Peregrine for the trails. cushion used to be my number one factor until I kept getting the same injury. It was then that I looked for a more "natural" shoe and have love the mirage ever since. SO for me& its a shoe that helps promote my natural running stride and is light and flexible. I also love ride 10 saucony a roomy toe box as i am prone to black toes (boo). I tend to look for shoes that are light weight yet cushiony ( not sure if that's a word) AND supportive.
We also found that the Saucony Bullet made for a good gym shoe as well. The low to the ground feel of the Saucony Bullet were popular for weightlifters and casual gym goers as well. The Saucony Bullet features a simple, low profile nylon upper with strategic suede overlays across the heel and forefoot. The suede overlays continues the Saucony Bullet's status as a minimalist shoe without the frills. We also found that some users enjoyed the suede overlays as tastefully employed. The mesh upper is unassuming and promotes effective breathability throughout wear. The upper has some reinforcements around the toe saucony a8 box area, but it is barely noticeable in keeping with its minimalist lifestyle profile.
Wearers will not feel like they are sinking in the Saucony Bullet and it provides ample stability for casual wear. The Saucony Bullet is not super plush. It does provide some responsiveness with its low-to-the-ground feel, but it was minimal. Because of this, we found that runners did not want to run in the Saucony Bullet and instead just use it as a casual shoe. For short distances and in emergency situations, the Saucony Bullet could provide some running utility, but it is extremely limited. Instead, the Saucony Bullet is more appropriate for everyday wear or casual gym exercises. The EVA midsole will take some time to break in for the Saucony Bullet. This is completely expected in EVA shoes and the Saucony Bullet was no exception.

What's NOT to love about Fall Running? Oh, wait, got one. Those blast sweaty headband/ear warmer things. Can Saucony please design something that keeps my ears from freezing, but doesn't make my forehead sweat and itch like saucony amazon crazy? Well, hoping I'd also be pain-free, I'd spend National Running Day on my local rail trail getting some happy miles in like I did so many times before lupus really put a damper on my running life (and the rest of my life, frankly). I'm working on getting back to that slowly but surely, but I'd take today as a spontaneous lupus-free day! And since I'm a Saucony runner all the time, sporting some new cool gear and kicks would be the icing on the cake! ÿþLooking for a great feet protector for your toddler's precious little feet? |
